He said you’ll know him as chief. So um im sorry about that. But in all fairness I had to call mine Master. It must be an old man macho thing . Anyway Chief will be an awesome grandfather and you will hear many stories about him the next several years.
Did you ever stop and think about the world in 100 years from now or think about it 100 years ago? I’m doing that now and what I notice is that unless you’re a person who does things that have a momentous effect either positive or negative no one will remember you. I don’t know anything about my ancestors from 100 years ago but I know about the sinking of the titanic because it was huge tragedy. I can get the names of every passenger on that ship but I can’t tell you who my great great great great grandma was. Its kind of sad actually. I wonder if she was sensitive like me? Was her hair curly? Did she have green eyes? What did like to cook or didn’t like about herself? How many kids did she have? Was she happily married? I don’t know. But I know this, I already love my great great great great great grandbabies and I think that they would love to know where they came from. Im positive if they ever got to know us they’d be impressed at the things we’re doing to make a difference for them. Im sure they’d be excited to know that they’re blue eyes came from their grandpop Kevin and their athletic abilities came from their great great great uncle Aaron, their brains from great great great old Aunt Hannah and their ability to love deeply and almost haphazardly from great great great great great grandma Tina. It makes me smile when I think about it. So thank you 19th century for bringing us data communications so it could be turned into an information highway so I could blog to my super great grandbabies.
